Creador Foundation continues efforts in three key areas

Creador Foundation is stepping up its efforts to make a positive impact on communities in 2023, continuing its programmes in three key areas. Here’s a quick snapshot of what the team has lined up in 2023.

1. Education

Multiply, the Foundation’s comprehensive financial literacy programme, is expanding. In 2022, Multiply Malaysia soared to new heights, reaching over 325,000 users, bringing us one step closer to our goal of inculcating changes in financial behaviour through access to financial education.

The success of the flagship Multiply Malaysia programme led us to prepare to launch this programme across new geographies, with Multiply India being the first to be launched April 2023.

Our next focus is on empowering and supporting youth. We believe in the brilliance of all students and that higher education provides the best opportunity for upward mobility in an inequitable world. In this endeavour, we are gearing up to launch Schola, a one-stop platform that provides accessible, unbiased, and relevant content on education and career pathways to empower students with the tools to navigate life beyond high school and its equivalents like SPM in Malaysia.

2. Arts & Culture

Promoting and advocating for the arts & culture will continue to be a cornerstone of our mission at Creador Foundation.

In 2022, we continued our support of the Krishen Jit Fund. There were six recipients of the fund, spread across a plethora of sectors including performative theatre, filmmaking, immersive cultural insights, community-building board games, typography and design. In 2023, we will continue to support collaborative efforts and platforms that promote Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage at a local and international level.

3. Healthcare & Aid

Quick humanitarian support is critical in ensuring the progress of communities is not disrupted. In 2022, we ramped up relief efforts in response to the floods across Malaysia by supplying furniture and appliances to 185 families.

In 2023, we will continue to support communities in need, working with our business network as well as key government and non-governmental stakeholders to ensure swift aid is given in the event of a crisis.
