Robert (Bob) Kennedy

Robert (Bob) Kennedy is the Tom Lantos Professor of Business Administration at Michigan’s Ross School of Business and Executive Director of the William Davidson Institute (WDI), a think tank that focuses on practical research, education programs, and capacity building in emerging market economies. Bob’s research focuses on the opportunities and challenges facing businesses in developing countries and has been widely published. He has authored more than 120 articles, chapters, notes, case studies, and computer exercises on emerging market issues. From 2002-2012, his teaching materials were used at every one of Business Week’s top 25 U.S. business schools. Kennedy also sits on the governing and/or advisory boards of numerous organizations active in the economic development sector, including the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE), the Global Business School Network (GBSN), the “Development Through Enterprise” website, the University of Michigan’s Center for Global Health, and the Ross School’s Global Initiative.
